On the 6th of May, PODEM together with European Neighbourhood Council (ENC) presented their new project on youth perception and values in the EU and Turkey in a preparatory workshop in Brussels to a closed group of experts from different European universities including those from Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Greece and Belgium.
The on-going project, entitled Understanding Future Values: Youth and Interaction across the EU and Turkey, helps gather and analyse relevant research and data on youth perceptions and socio-political values, including its significance on EU-Turkey relations today. The fourteen-month long project assists in the creation of dialogue platforms among civil society groups, while better understanding youth perceptions both in the EU and Turkey and how student exchange programs such as Erasmus+ impact the students’ social beliefs, value-sets and youth priorities.
Funded by the European Union, the Project is a part of the Supporting Civil Society Dialogue Between EU and Turkey Grant Scheme (CSD-V).
