Dr. Fulya Memişoğlu
Dr. Fulya Memişoğlu is an assistant professor in the Department of International Relations at Çukurova University. She holds a MA from the University of Warwick and a PhD in Politics from the University of Nottingham. Her general area of research is comparative politics with a particular focus on the interplay between international, regional and domestic policy-making processes in the field of human rights, mainly migration politics. She
recently worked at The Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford on the research project “Politics of the Syrian Refugee Crisis”, which compared local-level policy responses in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey. Memişoğlu regularly contributes to research reports on migration and asylum policies at national and EU level.
